Serving as former executives with some of the largest real estate development companies in the nation, Lighthouse co-founders, Ken Cablay and Gregg Linhoff have a wide-range of experience working through complex and challenging real estate cycles. Their combined track record covers the spectrum of real estate projects from stand-alone infill and residential merchant/guest builder to design and development of large developer master planned communities. Throughout their renowned careers, they have managed the entitlement, master-planning, and development of more than 6,700 residential lots and multiple commercial office parks.

KEN CABLAY, Co-Founder

For over thirty years, Ken Cablay has been a prominent fixture in the Southern California real estate development industry. Working alongside Lighthouse co-founder Gregg Linhoff, Ken contributed to the design, development and sale of over $50 million in real estate over the past eight years alone. Prior to Lighthouse, Ken served as President of Standard Pacific Homes, San Diego Division. During his first year as President, he increased home deliveries by over 300% and created a portfolio of over $150 million in land assets for future development.

Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and completed graduate studies in the Master of Business Administration program from San Diego State University. He is a registered civil engineer and a licensed general contractor in the State of California.


Active in Southern California real estate development since 1982, Gregg has extensive experience acquiring land, planning and developing an array of project types. During his career, Gregg has managed the development of approximately 3,000 homes in more than 30 neighborhoods. Gregg held the position of Vice President, Acquisition and Development with Standard Pacific Homes, San Diego Division prior to co-founding Lighthouse. Here, Gregg worked directly with President Ken Cablay to acquire over $150 million in land for development. Gregg also had full responsibility for all project management activities contributing to delivering over 1,000 homes and gaining an inventory of over 1,000 additional lots in three years.

Gregg graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and completed substantial coursework in architectural design. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and holds a Class B General Contractor license in the State of California.
